Immediately upon coming out to the Bay Area from Texas for college in 1995, I decided that I never wanted to leave. PBC became my church home two weeks later. After getting a degree in engineering, I worked in software development for seven years before going to seminary. In 2007 I became a pastor PBC and have served as an elder since 2014. My wife Rachel and I have five children: three born to us and two adopted. Life is crazy and challenging and fun and full of God’s grace.
