Our Brother’s Home

Local Transitional Housing

Our Brother’s Home (OBH) is a non-profit Christian organization affiliated with the Recovery Ministry at Peninsula Bible Church in Palo Alto. OBH, which first opened in 2009, provides transitional housing for up to two years for men who have been struggling with drugs, alcohol, and a variety of other issues.

The home, located in Mountain View, provides housing for seven men—six residents and a house manager. Most of the residents are U.S. military veterans, although being a veteran is not a requirement for living at OBH.

The purpose of Our Brother’s Home is:

  • To provide Christ-centered housing for those in recovery from drugs and alcohol.
  • To help men grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • To foster a community in which long-term recovery is successful.
  • To assist with practical living skills, enabling residents to become self- supporting members of society.

Financially, OBH exists through rental payments from residents and from private donations. All donations are tax-deductible.
