Since the early 2000’s, PBCers have served with Operation Mobilization of India in the areas of medical missions and equipping pastors to teach God’s Word. The teams work with Dalits, also known as untouchables.
Medical teams regularly serve the Devdasi people who are recovering teenage prostitutes from the Hindu temples, treating those with HIV, and providing medical and dental screening for the elementary school children and their parents. Teams have also led village ministry, empowering women and teaching healthy living.
