We’re so excited to share our annual summer of fun with you! We hope these family-friendly activities help you create more community, new friendships, and stronger fellowship this summer. We encourage you to invite friends and families as we create memories together!
What can your child expect from Summerville?
To have fun!
We want to encourage the energy and excitement that children have towards life. We want to encourage that liveliness and use it as an opportunity for growth by sharing spiritual truths with them.
To grow in a faith community!
We want our children to grow together in faith. The benefits will be even more evident when they reach their teenage years and are surrounded by friends (adults and peers) who love and follow God.
To know the Word of God!
God delights for us to know him and he has chosen to make himself known through the Bible. We want our children to be excited to know, love, and serve him.
Week-long Day Camps
Vacation Bible School "Breaker Rock Beach"
June 24-28, 9am-12pm
4 years old – 5th grade
$70/child
Kids will be challenged as they discover that God’s truth never changes, everyone needs Jesus, and learn to speak the truth in love. Adventure awaits each day as kids explore tide pools, spot orcas, fly kites, and watch the mighty waves crash up against the immovable Breaker Rock!
Quest Bible Camp: New Testament
July 22-26, 9am-12pm
2nd – 5th grade
$50/child
Adventure through the New Testament with stories, hands-on games and activities, and unique crafts. Kids will gain the understanding for how the early church was formed and what that means it means for Christians to follow Christ today.
Summer Fun Days
Summer Fun Days are single-day events for kids and parents to enjoy the summer sun and get to know each other better. Register for one, two, or all three! Parents are invited to hang out and get to know each other while the kids have fun. Light snacks provided. Note: Children 5 years old and under must be accompanied by a guardian.
SFD at PBC
July 3rd, 9am-12pm

SFD at Mitchell Park
July 10, 9am-12pm
$5/child
Play field games, enjoy the outdoors, and soak up the amazing summer sun together! Mitchell Park is a 10 minute walk from PBC.
SFD at the Zoo
July 17th, 9am-4pm
$15/guest over 2 years old (includes park admission)
Paws and relax – it’s zoo o’clock! Enjoy a whole day marveling, feeding, and petting amazing animals that God created. This year we’ll be visiting Happy Hollow Zoo in San Jose!
Scholarships are available. If interested, please send us a message using the form at the bottom of the page by 5/1.

All-Church Events
These events are available to the whole church body, not just kids. We hope you can join us for these additional events!
All-Church Picnics @ Mitchell Park
June 30 & August 18 (pending), 12-2pm
Enjoy an afternoon together as church family, meet new friends, and relax! We’ll have a BBQ and organized games for all ages. PBC will provide grilled food and beverages.
Please bring food to share: A–R salad / side dish, S–Z dessert.
Camp PBC
August 2-7*
Prices vary.
Camp PBC provides a unique time to live, play, and be together as an extended church family at beautiful Lake Siskiyou, in the shadow of Mount Shasta. A great trip for families and new campers! Over 100 PBCers of all ages and stages come each summer!
*The majority of campers stay the whole week, but you are welcome to come for just part of it!
