Every Sunday various PBCers prepare and serve dinner for 10-20 mostly unhoused guests. Dinner is 6-7pm. Depending on cooking/prep time, time commitment is usually 4-7:30pm. Servers arrive at 5:30pm. The lead cook needs to have food handler’s certification and a kitchen orientation and training by one of our kitchen managers. The lead cook typically plans the menu, purchases all ingredients (minus typical spices) and oversees other volunteers assisting with dinner preparation and clean-up.
