Message: “What Does It Matter If I Take a Break?” from Paul Taylor

We'll spend four weeks completing our series in Jeremiah entitled Weeping In Worship. In these four messages, we'll look at the issues of dependence, revelation, suffering, and justice. We'll see how God's people are criticized for failing to depend on Him and how He reveals Himself to them despite their attempts to block Him out. We'll also see how God's representatives suffer when they carry this unpopular message to His people and how ultimately, God's punishment of those people opposed to Him demonstrates his justice to a world that desperately needs it.

From Series: "Weeping in Worship"

The book of Jeremiah gives us a raw and rich portrait of the life of Jeremiah. It provides us with a rare example of the interior life of a prophet. As we study it, we will be encouraged to experience honestly the circumstances that we are facing by Jeremiah's stark honesty. We will be given hope as we see the stark picture of a painful reality into which God promises redemption. But most of all, we will see how God works through failure and be encouraged that God will work in the midst of the failure of this world and through our personal failures.
