Relating to Our Rulers
As followers of Christ, how are we to relate and respond to our government and its leaders? This is a complex question in our current political environment, but Peter gives us some practical guidance for this challenging task.

As followers of Jesus, we are strangers in a foreign land. Though we live in this world, we belong to heaven. Though we have careers and homes and hobbies here, none of this will follow us into the next life. How do we live on earth as citizens of heaven? How do we follow Jesus in a world that is often ambivalent -- if not hostile -- towards Him and his truth? These are the challenges addressed in the book of 1 Peter.
