CloseThese verses provide one of the richest explanations of unity in the entire New Testament. Using the imagery of a building, the apostle Paul describes how two groups of people, separated by centuries of hostility, are brought together as one new humanity. This example of unity offers us a timely encouragement in our own culture to see God break down barriers between groups of people and to "be built together to become a dwelling in which God lives."
