CloseIn the book of Revelation, we've seen God's judgment against the evil in this world. Chapter 18 portrays a vivid image of Babylon, the great symbolic empire of evil, being judged once and for all for her sins. The city which once ruled the world ends up emptied of all life. For readers in the first century, this vision gave them a new perspective on the Roman empire. For us, how does it change the way we live in the midst of the empires of our day?
