Emerging from the Protestant Reformation, which began five hundred years ago, on Oct. 31, 1517, were what came to be known as “the three solas”: Sola scriptura: “By Scripture alone.” Sola gratia: “By grace alone.” Sola fida: “By faith alone.” What are the implications of the “the three solas” for today?
