Rescued to Multiply

SENT: Living the Mission of the Church

King Herod (Agrippa 1) decides to persecute the church to win favor with the Jews. First he executes James (son of Zebedee, brother of John) and then has Peter arrested to do the same. With Peter chained and under Roman guard, one of the New Testament's greatest rescue plans is put in motion, but there's no elite band of zealots rappelling from rooftops to snatch Peter to safety. God has an entirely different plan, one that will both save Peter and cause the Gospel to flourish.
