CloseIn the Bible, there are prayers of asking, prayers of confession and lament, ones that praise God for what he has done, will do, or simply for who he is. But in Habakkuk 3, a most unusually prayer takes form. The prophet realizes the situation and solution results in terror within him. He realizes the true fear is not in the situation around him, and that his true joy is not in possessions, but in God’s mercy.
