Gaining Perspective
We all face difficult decisions. Many of the decision that we make as young adults may have a profound impact on the rest of our lives. Should I take that job? Should I marry that person? Should I buy that house? When facing difficult decisions, it can be easy to get so close to the situation that we lose perspective. In our passage for tonight, Paul is faced with an even bigger decision — a decision between life and death. As Paul weighs his options, he does so with a perspective that will help us as we face important decisions of our own.
