A People Freed: A Leader for Freedom

The Exodus is the founding event of God's people. As we have already seen God doing, he selects a man to lead his people toward freedom. The freedom God offers the Israelites reveals a pattern that will continue to take place: God frees his people; He gives them a new way to live; They have to wait for the completion of his promises.
