Leadership Institute
Equipping Disciples for Their Work of Ministry
We believe every follower of Jesus has a role to play in the church and in the world. The Leadership Institute is a nine-month cohort experience that combines biblical and theological training, spiritual formation, and practical ministry application to help you discover, develop, and sustain God’s unique calling on your life.
Focused on equipping people for ministry in the life of the church and beyond, the Leadership Institute is designed for those who want to grow as disciples of Jesus and be better prepared to disciple, teach, and care for others.

Components
Classes
Six 5-week classes equip you with the biblical and theological foundations for discipleship and ministry.
Formation
A spiritual formation small group and a monthly mentor meeting will help you find and sustain God’s calling for you.
Practice
Spiritual practices and application assignments give you the opportunity to integrate your learning into daily life.
2026-27 Program Schedule
The Leadership Institute requires a high commitment. We ask participants to prioritize attendance for the sake of class continuity and group dynamics.
All classes are held in-person at PBC on Tuesdays between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Remote options are only available in case of illness or travel.
Please note that we will only be offering our ministry track this year. We will not be offering our Faith @ Work track for the 2026-27 Program.Â

PBC has a long legacy of equipping believers for God’s call in their lives.
