Get connected.Explore our ministries.
Whether you are brand new to PBC or have grown up here, we encourage you to connect and get involved in a ministry. We believe that no matter where you are in your faith or what season of life you’re in, you can grow through community and connection. We hope you will be encouraged and your faith will deepen in unexpected ways.
You are invited to come and connect with God and community through one of PBC’s Connect Groups. A Connect Group is a great way to get to know new people and share life together in a small group setting. We have a variety of groups, including groups that primarily focus on Bible study, life sharing, prayer, accountability, and many more.
We seek to root children in the truth that they are fully loved by God – that they may learn to love God and love others. We have a thriving Children’s Ministry at PBC including a Sunday School program during both services for children in preschool – 5th grade as well as infant/toddler childcare in our nursery. Our mid-week program (Awana) is on Wednesday nights for children ages 3 years – 6th grade.
Our Youth Ministries exist to provide a safe and loving community for middle school & high school students that inspires a journey of faith, equips them for a lifelong walk with God, and prepares them to engage and impact their world for Christ. The Middle School and High School Groups meet on Sunday mornings at 10:45am and Wednesdays at 7:00pm.
We are a community of college students & young adults living and working in the Silicon Valley. As a community, we are striving to become fully devoted followers of Jesus. We do this by gathering for worship, living in community, serving our church, and loving our world. Our College Group meets for breakfast on Sundays at 9:30am in The Study and our Young Adults Fellowship meets on Thursdays at 7:30pm in The Upper Room.
We are a community of couples who are in their first 5 years of marriage (or engaged). We meet weekly on Sunday mornings at 10:45am in The Study to learn and grow in our relationships. Our hope is to foster a community who is learning together from God how to love each other well in marriage.
It is God’s grace that PBC is a vibrant multi-generational church and our seniors make a special contribution to its vitality. The In Touch Seniors Ministry works to build a healthy PBC community of older adults (60 and up) to participate in a variety of activities to promote social and spiritual well-being.
Men grow best in an intergenerational community with people from different stages of life, sharing their experiences and learning from each other. Road Crew is a gathering of men every Wednesday at 6:30am in the Fellowship Hall. We have some music,
Our Women’s Ministry is currently being led by a fantastic team of women from our congregation as we begin our search for a new Women’s Pastor. Some highlights of the Ministry offerings are: Thursday Morning Women’s Connection, annual Women’s Retreat, Tuesday Evening Bible Study, Book Club, Moms & Company, 5K Run, Knitting/Crochet Fellowship and Quilting Ministry.
At PBC we seek to enter into relationships of giving and receiving with our Missionaries and Ministry Partners through our Prayer, Care & Share strategy. Through these partnerships we hope to make a difference and help our community and world connect with God’s message of life changing love.
MUSIC & ARTS
Our music style is modern and acoustic guitar driven, guided by a vision to be a singing church. Visual arts are celebrated and incorporated into the worshiping life of the church. The Gallery is located in our worship center and is dedicated to showcasing the creative expression of our artists. Those interested in getting involved with our Music & Arts Ministry are encouraged to apply.
We seek to carry love and hope to others by first acknowledging the love and hope we have received. We seek to provide a place to help develop a foundation for your life by using the 12-step recovery principles and biblical teaching as a tool for developing an intimate relationship with God. We meet on Friday nights for Recovery & Renewal at 7pm in the Fellowship Hall and Sunday mornings for Step Closer at 8:55am in the Upper Room.
We seek to equip a new generation to transform the Bay Area for Christ through God’s grace, power and truth. Jeff Louie, our Pastor of Equipping, has come on board to develop and lead PBC’s new training program: The School for Spiritual Revival. All of the teaching is biblically and theologically grounded. The classes will merge the theological and biblical with the practical, all in one class.
Counseling: each of the pastors is available to meet with those who attend PBC to help understand and cope with issues impacting life and family. Visitation: we seek to bring comfort and encouragement through visiting with those who are in a season of greater dependence upon others. Prayer: on Sunday mornings, immediately after each service, individuals are available in the Gallery to pray. If you have a burden and/or a praise for which you would value others joining you in prayer, please seek out one of these prayer warriors.
