Being a man in the Silicon Valley is no easy task. We face demands from employers, families, activities, friends, and deep within ourselves. Time is always an issue. There’s never enough energy to do the things we want to. It’s difficult to live up to all the expectations around us.
But we believe that God has a unique calling for men. We are convinced that we can discover and grow in that calling as we gather around the Bible in a community. Ultimately, we want to become the husbands, fathers, sons, brothers, friends, and employees that God designed us to be.
During the fall of 2018, we will be studying how Jesus is the model of manhood. We’ll consider Jesus’s relationships, his childhood, and his reaction to temptation. It will be a great time to consider our unique calling as men.
We meet on Wednesday mornings from 6:30 am – 7:30 am in the Fellowship Hall (the large room attached to the Worship Center). Our gatherings each week begin with a song to focus us (and wake us up). We continue with a personal sharing from one of the men in the group. After an interactive teaching, there is time for small group discussion and prayer. And of course, there’s coffee. And pastries. We hope you can join us.
