Compassion MinistryExtending our church family through generous hospitality.

HOTEL DE ZINK 5/1 – 5/31
In May, PBC will be hosting Hotel de Zink, an emergency shelter for adult men and women that rotates locations among local congregations. Help provide our 15 guests with breakfasts and dinners, or serve as shower host (at the PBC shower on campus).
Please prepare or purchase a meal that is as healthy as possible, and please do not include sweet drinks or a dessert (we will offer desserts on Fridays and Sundays). Please deliver (or have your meal delivered) to the Upper Room at PBC as close to 6pm as possible. PBC will provide plates/cups/bowls/silverware/napkins. Thank you for caring for our guests!
PBC MEAL MINISTRY
Every Sunday afternoon/evening we need (same household) volunteer teams to shop for and prepare a healthy meal in the PBC kitchen (recipes provided if needed) and a couple servers to help serve the meal to our unhoused church family and friends on our patio. Learn more or sign up below to volunteer one time or as often as you like.
Throughout the pandemic, PBC has made our church shower available to our unhoused church family and friends. We invite “Shower hosts” to set up a few chairs and welcome those who signed up and “laundry helpers” who wash and return towels. Learn more or sign up below to volunteer one time or as often as you like.
Our compassion team is looking for friends who want to co-lead our hospitality ministries with us. We primarily connect through monthly Zoom meetings and email. Please let us know below if you’re interested in learning more and Rob Schulze, our Pastor of Administration and Compassion, will follow-up with you.
