Christmas Season 2020
Celebrate with Us

Our Christmas season will look different this year due to the pandemic.

However, our joy remains in celebrating the “good news” of the birth of Jesus Christ.

We hope you will join us.

Drop off at Palo Alto First Christian Church
Sat, Dec 12 • 5-8 pm

Help make the holidays brighter for foster and at-risk children in our area through the Help One Child Giving Tree. Each holiday season, Help One Child requests Christmas wish lists from at-risk children throughout its region. Simply choose a wish list depicting a child’s first name, age, gender, and wished-for gift (typically $40-$50). You will receive a confirmation email with your ornament number and details. Drop off your gift at First Christian Church in Palo Alto on Dec 12, from 5-8 pm.

Fri, Dec 11

During this challenging time, over 100 worship leaders from across the San Francisco Bay Area have united to sing a Christmas blessing over our city and our world. On December 11, we will release a collaborative arrangement of “Silent Night / O Come Let Us Adore Him.” Follow @thebayareablessing on YouTube, Facebook or Instagram for sneak peaks and updates on the release!

Dec 12-25 • 5-10 pm

You’re invited to experience the traditional Advent themes of hope, joy, peace and love at Palo Alto Christmas, which is free and open to all. Four participating churches welcome you to their campuses during the 12 days of Christmas, from December 12 through December 25.

Visitors will participate in a scavenger hunt from the comfort of their cars, or at a safe social distance
, as they search to spot items among the decor between the hours of 5:00pm and 10:00pm.

Visit for a scavenger hunt form and a map. After visiting all four churches, register your findings online for a chance to win prizes including gift cards, a Kindle and an iPad! Prizes will be awarded each day.

A Visual Christmas Experience

This event is brought to you by Crossroads Community Church, Peninsula Bible Church, Palo Alto First Christian Church, and Palo Alto Vineyard Church to bring the meaning of Christmas to life, and to bring us all closer together.

And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”

Luke 2:10-11
