IN-PERSON: Outdoor Step Closer will be on Sundays at 9:00am in the PBC parking lot. There will be music, teaching and sharing. Wear a mask and, if possible, bring your own chair. Social distancing is required.
BEFORE YOU LEAVE: If you or anyone in your household is sick with cold-like symptoms or has been exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the past 14 days, please join us online instead.
You can also sit in your car and the service will be broadcast on FM radio. Check the Step Closer Facebook Group for updates.

PBC’s R&R (Recovery and Renewal) celebration is the weekly outreach of our Recovery Community. In the Fellowship Hall Every Friday evening 7-9:00pm (including holidays!) Experience a time of praise, worship, teaching, and community. Come and join us in the celebration at R&R!

Step Closer is a joyful Sunday morning gathering celebrating our recovery, freedom, and new life in Christ! We worship through singing, prayer, and teaching, and we experience a rich sense of community through fellowship and sharing. We meet on Sunday mornings from 8:55 – 10:25 am in the Upper Room.

Our Brother’s Home (OBH) is a non-profit Christian organization affiliated with the Recovery Ministry at Peninsula Bible Church in Palo Alto. OBH, which first opened in 2009, provides transitional housing for up to two years for men who have been struggling with drugs, alcohol, and a variety of other issues.

Sign up to cook meals for R&R
Would you like to help cook for the Recovery Ministry? We need volunteers the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, anytime between 1–5pm (or whenever done). Cooking is done at First Congregational Church (Palo Alto) and then transported to PBC for serving at R&R on Friday evening.

Andy has been at PBC since 1988 and has been an elder since 2001, as well as the recovery pastor since 2006. Andy, and his wife Brigitte, have three grown children and four grandchildren
