Following Jesus Together in Silicon Valley
I'm NewSermons

We have always known that our church is not the building; it’s the people, but now that is made particularly clear. During this time of COVID-19, our church will meet entirely online. Join our live stream worship service featuring engaging music and relevant teaching from the Bible at, the PBC YouTube Channel, and Facebook.

In our new sermon series “Prayers for the Moment,” we will look at prayers that are in the narratives of the Scriptures, and learn how we can draw strength and encouragement from those prayers today.

Audio, video and text versions of each message in the series will be available weekly in the Sermon Library.

Race and justice can be uncomfortable topics to talk about. However, our leadership team at PBC believe that we, as the church, have a responsibility to play a role in addressing racism and injustice in our society. Click the button below and lean into these topics with us.

Feeling isolated during this time? We’d love to connect you to our community. All of our ministries continue to offer weekly online connecting points that can help PBCers and our newcomers get plugged in. We also have new small groups that are forming for connection, prayer and fellowship. Fill out a Connect Card and we’ll follow up. If you need prayer, fill out a Prayer Request.

Welcome to Faith in Real Life! This is a collection of mini-sermons (under 7 minutes each) where we cover various topics and discuss difficult questions that come up as we seek the Lord’s leading in our lives and minister to the world around us. Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel to stay up to date on our latest content.

The Ghost Town of Evil

Wake Up

In the book of Revelation, we've seen God's judgment against the evil in this world. Chapter 18 portrays a vivid image of Babylon, the great symbolic empire of evil, being judged once and for all for her sins. The city which once ruled the world ends up emptied of all life. For readers in the first century, this vision gave them a new perspective on the Roman empire. For us, how does it change the way we live in the midst of the empires of our day?

Scripture References: Revelation 18:1-24
