Young Adults of the Peninsula Fall Retreat

We had a great retreat over the weekend of October 26-28, 2012. Look for more information about another joint retreat during the fall of 2013.

In 2011 and 2012, we teamed up with Peninsula Covenant Church in Redwood City, and Peninsula Bible Church Cupertino to hold a joint fall retreat. It's a great chance to gather with a larger group of young adults and go deeper into some themes of what it means to follow God in our area.

We invited Jimmy Spencer Jr., author of Love Without Agenda, to be our speaker for the weekend. He shares a powerful and challenging message of what it looks like to authentically love people as Jesus did. You can find more information about Jimmy on his website. 

The 2012 retreat was at Mission Springs Retreat Center in the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains. We had small groups with people mixed from different churches, free time for recreational activities, great worship, and delicious food. 

Our 2012 retreat has set the tone for some exciting directions for our fellowship over the course of the year. Stay tuned for more information on a San Francisco immersion weekend January 11-12 with City Impact in conjunction with the same churches from the retreat.
