David Roper and his wife, Carolyn, offer encouragement and counsel to pastoral couples through Idaho Mountain Ministries. David served for more than 30 years on the pastoral staff of Peninsula Bible Church, and as senior pastor of Cole Community Church in Boise, Idaho.
Dave enjoys fly-fishing, fly-tying, hiking and just the thought of being stream-side in the mountains with his wife.
His favorite fictional character is Reepicheep, the tough little mouse that is the "soul of courage" in C. S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia. His favorite biblical character is Caleb, that rugged old saint who never retired but "died climbing".
