I grew up in Redwood City in a family of 4 kids, two older brothers and a younger sister. I moved to Hawaii at the age of 18 and lived there for 7 years before moving back to the Bay Area. It was then that I met the love of my life, Rhonda. We married in July of 1985. Along with Rhonda came two beautiful daughters, Holly and Angie who are currently living in the area. We also have two grandchildren, Alex and Angel. Before becoming a Realtor in 1989, I was on staff here at PBC for 3 years. I accepted Christ as my Savior at the age of 31, 20 years ago. I enjoy spending time with my wife in warm climate places, eating whatever she makes, having people in our home, entertaining & golfing.

    Biblical Passage for Consideration

The scripture verse that has most impacted my life is 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

My life before Christ was so different from what it is now that it's as though I'm two different people. Before Christ I lived a life filled with emptiness and illusions of happiness through drugs. Walking with Christ I have found fulfillment in spending time with people, sharing the love of Christ and learning more about this One who's brought me from certain death.

    Ministry Passion

A couple of things come to mind for me as I reflect on this season at PBC. First is the importance of God's gifts to us and how they are used in the life of the church. If we are to truly function as the church described in the scriptures, we all need to serve in some capacity. We are each gifted in one way or another and each are just as important to the church as the other. If you haven't come to know yet what your gifts are, then I would encourage you to volunteer in one of the many ministries needing help here at PBC and begin to explore and discover the gifts God has given you and how He wants you to use them.

Secondly is the need for discipleship. Christ commanded us to go out and make disciples. I don't believe that discipleship is only the study of the Scriptures. Christ spent time with His disciples teaching, praying with and loving them and earning a place where He could speak into their lives. If you're not currently in a discipleship group, please let someone in leadership know that you're available.
