Each month a group of servants put their faith into action by gathering together to make beautiful lap quilts. The process of cutting, sewing, and tying pieces of fabric is an expression of their love. In the midst of life's challenges, these quilts become a physical, touchable expression of care and concern to those who receive them. During the past few years quilts have been given to veterans at the Menlo Park VA Hospital, abused and neglected children attending Royal Family Kids' Camp, short-term mission trips to Slovakia and Mexico, and individuals upon request. As we gather to encourage the hurting, we enjoy fellowship in the joy and pleasure of service.
