PENINSULA BIBLE CHURCH
following Jesus in Silicon Valley
Sunday Mornings
Infants, toddlers, and two's (by Dec. 2)
It is our desire that your nursery-aged child will experience a loving, caring, and secure environment. Likewise, we hope that you are able to freely worship here at PBC, confident that your child is in good hands.
Loving care is provided throughout Sunday mornings by trained caregivers. It is our goal for the children to experience God's love through song, prayer, stories, and conversation in an age-appropriate, visually stimulating, and secure environment.
Things to Bring – (Please label everything with your child's name)
- Disposable diapers
- Bottle/cup with milk, juice, or water
- A change of clothing
- A special blanket/pacifier for added security
Dropping your child off…
- Blue information card
This is a permanent card we use each week to ensure safe and appropriate care of your child; please be sure to fill one out and to keep updated as important information about your child changes.
- Pagers
Pick up a numbered pager. The pager allows the staff to contact you anywhere within the church facility if necessary.
Checking Out
Please return to pick up your child promptly (within 15 minutes) after the church service or adult class has ended. Your child will only be given back to the parent/guardian with the correct claim ticket and pager.
In addition, we have ...
- A cry room
A room is provided in the back of the sanctuary where you can listen to the sermon with your child and other families. A selection of toys for your use is provided. You also have easy access to the women's restroom for changing diapers.
- The fireside wing
A family-friendly wing of the sanctuary providing wider aisles so your child can play at your feet. The fireside wing is spacious enough for you to stroll your child or spread a blanket.
Additional Campus Facilities
If you need to change diapers, we have a changing table in the Women's restroom in the sanctuary's foyer. You are also welcome to use any of the nursery clubrooms (B1, B2, or B5). When warming a bottle, the best place for hot water is in the kitchen or the sanctuary bathrooms. The nursery bathroom's water heater is set very low.
