Jeremiah's complaints are some of the most raw and powerful in the Scripture. He does not shy away from pain, but he endures it and expresses it to God. In this passage we see Jeremiah lamenting his frustration to God and God's response. We can learn from Jeremiah's willingness to engage with God in his depression. And ultimately, God responds with His presence as the answer to Jeremiah's pain. God doesn't take away his pain, but is present to him in the midst of it.
