Everyone lives their life following some kind of a story that guides them: nothing I do is ever good enough; if I work hard I will succeed; the world is against me; as long as I don't make trouble, things will be fine. Our challenge is to orient our lives around God's story: the true story. Genesis 1:1 hints at three aspects of this story that are important. First, it tells where we came from. Second, God is the main character. Third, the story has to do with our experience.
