The Pharisees' rejection of Jesus renders them blind. The healed man’s testimony is simple and irrefutable: ‘Once I was blind, but now I see.’ His courage grows as he realizes that petulance and pride are behind all the questions being put to him. Finally the formerly blind man gets to meet Jesus leading to grateful worship
