PENINSULA BIBLE CHURCH
following Jesus in Silicon Valley
Parents
Hello, my name is Jordan Berry and I am the high school pastor here at Peninsula Bible Church. I have been a youth pastor since 2003 and have been the high school pastor here at Peninsula Bible church since June, 2005. I attended UC Riverside for 3 years where I studied physics until God led me, through a series of events, to youth ministry. I started my first day as a part-time pastor to jr. high and high school students 4 days after my 21st birthday at a small church in Southern California and it transformed my life. With a year left until the completion of a bachelors in physics, I felt God calling me into youth ministry so I transferred to Azusa Pacific University where I completed a bachelors in youth ministry. Shortly there-after I was hired on at PBC to be the high school pastor, and shortly after that I was married to my beautiful wife, Allison. We have a son who was born in May of 2011 and he heads up the Security Department of the youth ministry. I have also taken some classes at Fuller Theological Seminary toward a Masters of Theology.
I am excited about helping teens experience and understand "how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ" (Ephesians 3:18) and for that love to transform their lives. I also have a desire for the high school ministry to be an aid to parents in the very difficult task of raising Christian teens. Finally, it is also my hope that the high school ministry can be a place where Christ-loving, teen-loving adults can use their gifts to further the Kingdom of God. The high school ministry at Peninsula Bible Church is designed to be one piece of the puzzle that helps teens transition into adulthood with a firm understanding of God's outstanding love for them, with a grasp on how God's love for them should lead them to live their lives, and with a foundation based on the words of God as revealed through Scripture.
