PBC's 11th Annual F'all Retreat
In October 2012, we spent time away as a PBC family at Mission Springs Conference Center - kids, youth, adults, single and married. There was worship, teaching, sharing, fun activities, relaxation & quiet, swimming, hiking, late night movies, baptism, and more.
The retreat speaker was Bart Garrett. He helped us cultivate the capacity to talk about our faith in a way that doesn't make us feel like a vacuum salespersons. How do your friends, neighbors, and co-workers view God? What do they say about God? How does God view your friends, neighbors, and co-workers? What does he say about them?
Recordings of his four speaking times are available via links on the right side of this page. Enjoy!
Meet Our Retreat Speaker: Bart Garrett
After completing his Master of Divinity, Bart pastored 20-somethings at Perimeter Church in Atlanta, GA. After four years at Perimeter, Bart moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2005 to start Christ Church, a multi-site church-planting movement with congregations in Berkeley and Oakland. Bart most enjoys helping anti-churched, un-churched, de-churched, and re-churched neighbors and friends explore the historic Christian faith. He also loves to read and run--occasionally in tandem. Bart also serves as a church planting coach for Redeemer City-to-City-Asia. He is husband to Katie and father to Caroline (11), Clair (8), and Cammie (5).
