Highlight Our Brother's Home Gathering

Sunday 7/25 12:30-1:30pm iCal
Location: Fellowship Hall
  • Come and hear more about us.

Join us for a casual lunch, followed by a slide show and testimonies from current and previous residents. Andy Burnham will share about the overall vision for OBH, as well as, future plans (specifically, starting a home for women), plus there will be a time for Q&A. You'll be able to see what God is doing at OBH and how you might be a part of the ministry.

We're hoping that the Lord will lead more people to become involved with Our Brother's Home; prayerfully, relationally, and financially.

    Our Brother's Home:

Is a Christian non-profit corporation, separate from PBC, but affilliated with PBC's recovery ministry.

Provides transitional housing up to two years for men struggling with addictions, homelessness, and other related challenges.

Is located in a four bedroom residential rental home in Mountain View (near Costco) and is currently the home of seven men (six residents and a house manager), all of whom are part of the flock at PBC. In addition to attending PBC, all six of the current residents are U.S. military veterans who have completed various programs at the V.A. Hospital in Menlo Park.

Seeks to help men to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, to foster a community in which long-term recovery is successful, and to assist with practical living skills, enabling residents to eventually live independently.

    Tax-deductible donations are used toward:

Covering ongoing housing and mantenance expenses

Providing a need fund for education, job training, transportation, clothing, etc.

Creating a food closet for residents who are struggling financially.
