ESL Bible Study

Free English as Second Language (ESL) class for women

PBC is offering an ESL class that will run at the same time as its Women’s Connection Bible Studies on Thursday mornings.

Are you interested in the Bible but have limited English skills? Join us on Thursday mornings for a simplified version of the same teaching the Women’s Connection and Moms' Connection groups are receiving. The class is taught by a certified ESL teacher. The hour will include: short Bible lesson for English learners vocabulary relevant to lesson mini-grammar lessons simplified version of discussion questions

10:30 to 11:45 Students have the option to join one of the Women's Connection or Moms' Connection small groups for a time of discussing the teaching and Bible study, sharing about our lives, and praying for one another. Joining a small group is a great way to make new friends while practicing your English! A bilingual Japanese/English group for moms is also available. Additionally, you are welcome to join us for lunch after the program (kids included; bring your own lunch).

There is a children's program available. Please contact Lora Carey to register your children in advance.
