No matter what the season, there is always enjoyment in curling up with a good book. Consider attending this summer's "By the Shore" book club for women! We read a variety of books and gather to share ideas and glean biblical truths. This summer we will meet on Thursday mornings at 10am in A-15, June 25, July 16, July 30 and August 13.

Please register your child/children if you are planning to attend one of the Moms' Thursday Gatherings this summer, even if you have previously registered your children for other events at Peninsula Bible Church. This will help us to provide a healthy ratio of childcare workers so as not to turn visitors or regulars away. Same Kind of Different As Me, by Ron Hall and Denver Moore
Denver Moore grew up in Louisiana in the 1960's, working on a plantation as a modern-day slave. Ron Hall is an international arts dealer who moves between upscale New York galleries and celebrities. It seems unlikely that these two men would meet under normal circumstances. Until Deborah Hall, Ron's wife meets Denver and sees him through God's eyes of compassion.
