First ServiceThe Superlative Song
Song of Songs 1:1
This message is an introduction to the series. There are two big ideas in the first verse. 1) We are going to encounter lovemaking in a song: not in a gutter, a clinic, a joke, or a book of rules. The metaphors are beautiful, subtle and evocative. 2) The connection to Solomon means we should expect wisdom regarding a life lived to the fullest, but also hope for those who have failed.
