All-Church Retreat
Love Lived Out (1 Corinthians 13)
-

The thirteenth chapter of First Corinthians is sometimes encountered on greeting cards and often quoted at weddings – a widely admired work of elegant prose. In addition to being beautiful, however, it was written to be believed and obeyed. Our hope is that this great text will encourage honest connection during the weekend and motivate us to love sacrificially when return home.

This year the retreat will begin on Saturday morning and last through lunch on Sunday. The cost will be significantly less than in the past (details to follow) and the shortened time may be a better fit for parents with young children.
The retreat will have enough “open space” in the schedule for existing groups to plan, pray, etc. That is, existing home groups might attend the retreat and get together for an hour or two during the day on Saturday to launch the upcoming year. A newly formed discipleship group might do the same; a YAF leadership team the same, and so on.
Mission Springs is beautiful, close by, and set up for connecting with other folks. The retreat committee is promising perfect weather.
