Activities

We host a variety of small groups, most of which are led by members of our college ministry leadership team. While there is great benefit in peer-led on-campus bible studies, there is also a lot to be gained from meeting with someone a few steps down the road in life.

All-Ekklesia Dinner Bible Study

Begins Thursday Sept. 29!

Our Bible Study meets together every Thursday evening at the home of Rafael and Carolyn Sedillo.  Our focus is not only on studying the Word, but it's also a place where we can gather for a hot meal and have fun, enjoying one another's company and building friendships.  This is open to everyone from any college--or even if you're not going to college.  Contact Tiffany Do (link on right) for more information.

Stanford Small Group

coming soon! contact Kevin Anderson (link on right) for the latest.

SCU Small Groups

Some of the volunteers and students from our college ministry lead SCU Core community groups that meet on campus. So, if you’d like to get to know people and students from the church better, connecting to one of those groups is a good option.

  • Daryl and Jeff (from ministry team) lead a group for guys called SCUMen that discusses important issues.
  • Molly Langdon is co-leading a co-ed group called SIMBA that meets for breakfast on Saturday mornings and focuses on getting to know God and grow into being like Christ.
  • Estelle (student) is co-leading a co-ed group called Real Talk that spends time asking tough questions and seeking answers from God's word. Meets Mondays at 6pm.
  • Samantha (student) is leading a girls group on Women in the Bible that meets on Thursday evenings at 5:30.
You can read fuller descriptions about the groups on Core's website here.
